Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards which are of a value less than ten are valued at face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each equal to 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual gamblers; they only act as the two hands to be given out).

2 hands of 2 cards will then be played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand shall be the total of the 2 cards, but the first digit is discarded. For e.g., a hand of seven and five produces a total of 2 (7plusfive=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the foll. codes:

- If the bettor or banker has a score of 8 or 9, both players stand.

- If the player has five or lower, he/she hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart is used in order to determine if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores is the winner. Winning stakes on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even odds minus a 5 percent commission. Commission is kept track of and cleared out when you leave the table so ensure that you have $$$$$ left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay 1 to one. Winner bets for tie by and large pay eight to 1 and on occasion nine to one. (This is a bad gamble as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. Avoid betting on a tie. However odds are considerably better – nine to one versus eight to one)

When done effectively, baccarat provides fairly good odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with most games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is similar to a misconception of roulette. The past is never actually an actual indicator of future events. Staying abreast of last conclusions on a chart is simply a complete waste of paper as well as a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most common and almost certainly most successful method is the 1-three-two-6 scheme. This process is used to boost profits and cutting back risk.

Begin by gambling one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away 4 so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a value of 6 on the fourth gamble.

If you don’t win on the first bet, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the second creates a loss of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the 4th mean you break even. Winning at all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of ten. In other words that you can get beaten the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
