Baccarat Banque Rules and Method
Baccarat Banque Codes
Punto banco is gambled on with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at their printed value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands to be dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The score for every hand is the total of the cards, although the 1st number is ignored. For example, a hand of five and 6 has a score of 1 (5 plus 6 = eleven; drop the initial ‘one’).
A third card might be given using the following rules:
- If the player or bank has a total of eight or nine, both players stand.
- If the gambler has five or lower, she hits. Players otherwise hold.
- If the gambler holds, the bank takes a card on five or lower. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to see if the bank stands or hits.
Punto Banco Odds
The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker payout 19 to 20 (equal cash less a 5 percent rake. Commission are tracked and cleared out when you leave the table so ensure you have money left over just before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pays one to one. Winning wagers for tie usually pays 8:1 but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a awful wager as a tie occurs lower than one in every ten rounds. Avoid betting on a tie. Although odds are astonishingly greater for 9:1 versus 8:1)
Played correctly baccarat offers fairly decent odds, aside from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Method
As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has quite a few accepted myths. One of which is similar to a myth in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future events. Keeping track of past outcomes on a sheet of paper is a poor use of paper and a snub to the tree that surrendered its life for our paper desires.
The most familiar and possibly the most acknowledged plan is the 1-3-2-6 tactic. This technique is used to maximize earnings and limit risk.
Start by placing one unit. If you win, add another to the two on the game table for a sum total of 3 chips on the second bet. Should you succeed you will have six on the table, take away 4 so you are left with two on the third wager. If you win the third wager, add two on the four on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.
If you do not win on the initial round, you take a loss of one. A win on the first round followed by a loss on the second brings about a loss of two. Success on the first two with a defeat on the third provides you with a profit of 2. And wins on the initial 3 with a hit on the 4th means you are even. Winning at all four wagers gives you with twelve, a take of 10. This means you are able to give up the 2nd wager five instances for each successful streak of four bets and in the end, experience no loss.
