Punto Banco Policies and Scheme
Baccarat Banque Rules
Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are counted at their printed number while Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).
Two hands of 2 cards are then dealt to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for every hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the 1st digit is ignored. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a total of one (5 plus six = 11; drop the first ‘one’).
A third card might be given using the rules below:
- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or 9, both players stay.
- If the player has 5 or less, she takes a card. Players otherwise stand.
- If the gambler holds, the banker hits on 5 or less. If the player takes a card, a chart is used to figure out if the bank holds or hits.
Baccarat Banque Odds
The greater of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19 to 20 (equal money minus a 5 percent rake. The Rake is kept track of and paid off when you leave the game so make sure you still have funds remaining before you quit). Winning bets on the player pays one to one. Winning bets for a tie typically pays eight to one but sometimes nine to one. (This is a bad bet as a tie occurs lower than one in every ten hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially greater for nine to one vs. 8:1)
Played properly baccarat banque gives fairly good odds, aside from the tie wager of course.
Baccarat Chemin de Fer Method
As with all games Baccarat has a few accepted misconceptions. One of which is the same as a false impression in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events yet to happen. Keeping score of past outcomes on a chart is a poor use of paper and an insult to the tree that was cut down for our stationary desires.
The most accepted and almost certainly the most acknowledged course of action is the one, three, two, six tactic. This tactic is employed to pump up profits and minimizing losses.
Start by placing one dollar. If you win, add another to the two on the game table for a sum of 3 dollars on the second bet. Should you win you will hold six on the table, pull off 4 so you are left with two on the 3rd wager. If you succeed on the 3rd bet, put down two on the 4 on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th round.
Should you do not win on the 1st wager, you take a loss of 1. A profit on the first bet followed by a hit on the 2nd brings about a loss of 2. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the third provides you with a profit of two. And success on the initial 3 with a loss on the fourth means you are even. Winning at all 4 bets leaves you with 12, a take of 10. This means you are able to not win on the second round five times for every successful run of 4 bets and still experience no loss.
