Punto Banco Rules

Baccarat banque is wagered on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are valued at face value while at the same time 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not actual people; they just represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the total of the two cards, but the beginning digit is discarded. e.g., a hand of five and six has a total of 1 (5 plus six = eleven; dump the initial ‘one’).

A 3rd card can be given using the following rules:

- If the gambler or house has a value of eight or 9, the two players stand.

- If the player has five or lower, she takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player holds, the house hits on five or less. If the player hits, a table is used to see if the bank stands or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The bigger of the 2 scores wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent rake. The Rake is kept track of and paid off once you quit the game so be sure to still have money remaining before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pay one to one. Winning bets for a tie usually pays out at eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties occur less than one in every 10 rounds. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. However odds are astonishingly better for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)

Bet on properly baccarat provides generally decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Baccarat Course of Action

As with all games baccarat banque has a handful of established misunderstandings. One of which is close to a misconception in roulette. The past is not a fore-teller of events yet to happen. Tracking previous results on a chart is a poor use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our stationary needs.

The most common and possibly the most acknowledged plan is the one, three, two, six technique. This plan is employed to maximize profits and limit losses.

Begin by betting 1 dollar. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a sum of three dollars on the second bet. If you win you will hold six on the game table, subtract 4 so you are left with 2 on the third round. If you win the third bet, put down two on the four on the game table for a sum total of six on the fourth bet.

Should you don’t win on the first wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by a hit on the 2nd creates a hit of two. Wins on the initial two with a defeat on the third gives you with a profit of 2. And success on the first three with a loss on the 4th means you break even. Winning all four bets gives you with 12, a take of 10. This means you can give up the second wager 5 instances for every successful streak of four wagers and in the end, experience no loss.
