Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards of a value less than 10 are counted at face value whereas 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual contenders; they purely represent the 2 hands to be played).

2 hands of 2 cards are then given out to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for every hand will be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven as well as five has a tally of two (7plusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card may be given out depending on the following standards:

- If the gambler or banker has a score of 8 or nine, each gamblers stand.

- If the bettor has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If player stands, the banker hits of 5 or less. If the player hits, a chart shall be used in order to ascertain if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The higher of the two scores wins. Winning bets on the banker pay out 19 to 20 (even money minus a five percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so be sure to have dollars left over before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to one. Winner bets for tie by and large pays out at eight to 1 and on occasion nine to 1. (This is a crazy gamble as ties will occur less than one every ten hands. abstain from laying money on a tie. Nevertheless odds are exceedingly better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to 1)

Played properly, baccarat presents relatively good odds, aside from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some common misconceptions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette myth. The past is not an indicator of future events. Keeping track of previous results on a chart is simply a total waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and almost certainly most successful tactic is the one-3-2-six method. This technique is deployed to amplify earnings and reducing risk.

Begin by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the 3rd bet. If you win the third bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a sum of 6 on the 4th wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you come out even. Attaining a win on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of four bets and still break even.
