Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with 8 decks of cards in a shoe. Cards than are of a value less than ten are counted at face value while at the same time ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed upon the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they only represent the 2 hands to be dealt).

Two hands of two cards shall then be played to the ‘banker’ … ‘player’. The total for any hand will be the total of the two cards, but the 1st digit is removed. For eg, a hand of seven and five gives a value of 2 (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card can be dealt depending on the foll. rules:

- If the gambler or banker has a total of 8 or nine, the two bettors stand.

- If the bettor has 5 or lower, he/she hits. gamblers stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or lower. If the gambler hits, a chart shall be used to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The greater of the two scores will be the winner. Victorious bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5 percent commission. Commission is tracked and moved out when you leave the table so make sure you have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winning bets for tie by and large pay out 8 to one but occasionally 9 to one. (This is a bad bet as ties occur less than 1 every ten hands. Definitely don’t try laying money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are decidedly better – nine to 1 vs. 8 to one)

Played accurately, baccarat presents generally good odds, aside from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with all games, Baccarat has some well-known misunderstandings. 1 of which is close to a roulette misconception. The past is in no way a predictor of future results. Staying abreast of last results on a chart is a waste of paper and a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most popular and possibly most successful method is the one-three-two-six method. This tactic is employed to pump up winnings and limiting risk.

start by wagering 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of three on the second bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, remove 4 so you have two on the 3rd wager. If you win the third gamble, add 2 to the four on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth gamble.

If you lose on the first wager, you suck up a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd brings about a loss of two. Wins on the 1st 2 with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of 2. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming away with a win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
