Punto Banco Policies

Baccarat is gambled on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under 10 are worth face value and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and A is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these are not really people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘bank’ and ‘player’. The value for each hand is the sum total of the cards, although the beginning number is dumped. For instance, a hand of five and six has a value of 1 (five plus six = 11; ditch the first ‘1′).

A additional card will be given out based on the following rules:

- If the player or bank has a score of eight or 9, both players stay.

- If the gambler has less than five, he takes a card. Players otherwise stay.

- If the player holds, the bank hits on a total lower than five. If the player takes a card, a guide is used to see if the house stays or takes a card.

Baccarat Banque Odds

The higher of the two totals wins. Winning bets on the bank payout 19:20 (even money minus a five percent rake. The Rake is tracked and cleared out once you depart the game so be sure to still have money remaining just before you head out). Winning bets on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning wagers for a tie frequently pay eight to one but occasionally 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as ties happen lower than one in every ten rounds. Avoid putting money on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9 to 1 vs. eight to one)

Wagered on correctly baccarat chemin de fer offers generally decent odds, apart from the tie wager of course.

Punto Banco Strategy

As with all games baccarat chemin de fer has a handful of accepted misunderstandings. One of which is close to a false impression in roulette. The past is not a prophecy of future actions. Recording previous results on a page of paper is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that surrendered its life for our stationary desires.

The most accepted and possibly the most accomplished course of action is the one-three-two-six technique. This technique is used to build up winnings and limit risk.

Start by betting 1 chip. If you win, add another to the 2 on the table for a sum of three chips on the second bet. If you succeed you will retain 6 on the game table, take away four so you are left with two on the 3rd round. Should you come away with a win on the third round, put down two on the four on the game table for a sum total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you do not win on the initial round, you take a loss of one. A profit on the first wager followed by a loss on the second brings about a hit of 2. Wins on the 1st two with a hit on the third gives you with a profit of two. And success on the initial three with a hit on the fourth means you balance the books. Succeeding at all 4 rounds leaves you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can lose the second wager 5 times for every successful run of 4 rounds and in the end, balance the books.
