Baccarat Banque Practices and Scheme
Punto Banco Standards
Baccarat is bet on with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards below ten are valued at face value while at the same time Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and A is one. Bets are made on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t really people; they just represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two hands of two cards are then given to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The total for each hand is the sum of the two cards, although the beginning number is ignored. For instance, a hand of five and six has a value of one (five plus six equals eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).
A third card could be dealt depending on the following rules:
- If the gambler or house has a total of eight or nine, the two players stay.
- If the player has 5 or less, she takes a card. Players stands otherwise.
- If the player holds, the house hits on a total lower than 5. If the player hits, a table is employed to decide if the bank holds or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The higher of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the house payout 19:20 (even payout minus a 5 percent commission. The Rake is recorded and paid off once you quit the table so be sure to still have cash around before you quit). Winning wagers on the player pays 1:1. Winning wagers for tie usually pay 8:1 but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a bad wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten hands. Be cautious of putting money on a tie. Although odds are substantially greater for 9:1 vs. 8 to 1)
Gambled on properly baccarat banque offers generally decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Punto Banco Scheme
As with all games Baccarat has a handful of familiar misconceptions. One of which is close to a misunderstanding in roulette. The past isn’t a harbinger of events about to happen. Keeping track of past results at a table is a bad use of paper and an affront to the tree that was cut down for our paper desires.
The most familiar and almost certainly the most favorable strategy is the one, three, two, six tactic. This tactic is employed to build up winnings and limit losses.
Start by betting one unit. If you win, add another to the 2 on the game table for a total of three units on the second bet. If you win you will now have six on the game table, take away four so you have two on the third round. If you come away with a win on the 3rd wager, add 2 on the 4 on the game table for a grand total of six on the fourth round.
Should you don’t win on the first wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the initial bet followed by a loss on the 2nd causes a hit of 2. Success on the first two with a loss on the 3rd provides you with a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a hit on the 4th means you balance the books. Winning at all 4 wagers gives you with twelve, a gain of ten. This means you can lose the second bet 5 instances for every successful run of four bets and in the end, balance the books.
