Baccarat Rules

Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards below a value of ten are said to be at their printed value meanwhile ten, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they merely portray the 2 hands to be given out).

2 hands of two cards will now be played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for each hand is the sum total of the two cards, but the first digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of seven and five has a total of 2 (sevenplus5=twelve; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card could be dealt depending on the foll. protocols:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of eight or 9, then both gamblers stand.

- If the player has 5 or less, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart will be used to judge if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores is the winner. Successful stakes on the banker payout 19 to twenty (even money minus a 5% commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so make sure that you have dollars still before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay 1 to 1. Winner bets for tie typically pay eight to 1 and on occasion nine to 1. (This is not a good gamble as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. be cautious of placing bets on a tie. Nonetheless odds are appreciably better – nine to one vs. 8 to one)

When done correctly, baccarat presents pretty good odds, apart from the tie wager obviously.

Baccarat Tactics

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established misconceptions. One of which is close to a roulette myth. The past is not an actual indicator of future outcomes. Tracking of past outcomes on a chart is for sure a complete waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most established and feasibly most successful method is the 1-three-2-6 technique. This scheme is used to build up profits and controlling risk.

Begin by wagering one unit. If you win, add one more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have 6 on the table, take away four so you have 2 on the third bet. If you win the third wager, add two to the 4 on the table for a total of 6 on the 4th bet.

If you lose on the initial wager, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the second will create a loss of two. Wins on the 1st two with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Winning all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. In other words you can get beaten the second bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
