Baccarat Procedures

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards. Cards under ten are said to be worth their printed number and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each applied a value of 1. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they just appear as the two hands to be played).

2 hands of two cards shall then be given to the ‘banker’ as well as ‘player’. The total for every hand shall be the sum of the two cards, but the 1st digit is dumped. For eg, a hand of seven and five will have a total score of two (7plus5=12; drop the ‘one’).

A 3rd card might be given depending on the foll. standards:

- If the player or banker has a score of 8 or 9, each bettors stand.

- If the gambler has 5 or lower, he/she hits. Players stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the gambler hits, a chart is used to figure if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The bigger of the two scores will be the winner. Successful stakes on the banker pay 19 to twenty (even money less a five % commission. Commission is kept track of and moved out when you leave the table so ensure that you have cash left before you leave). Bets on the player that end up winning pay one to one. Winner bets for tie typically pay out eight to 1 and on occasion 9 to one. (This is not a good bet as ties will happen lower than one every ten hands. Run away from putting money on a tie. Nonetheless odds are somewhat better – nine to 1 versus eight to 1)

Played smartly, baccarat presents relatively decent odds, away from the tie bet obviously.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some common false impressions. 1 of which is similar to a roulette misconception. The past is never actually an actual indicator of future happenings. Tracking of past results on a chart is a waste of paper … a slap in the face for the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and almost certainly most successful tactic is the 1-3-two-6 concept. This method is deployed to accentuate payouts and reducing risk.

commence by wagering one unit. If you win, add 1 more to the 2 on the table for a total of 3 on the second bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add two to the 4 on the table for a grand total of six on the fourth wager.

If you don’t win on the first wager, you suck up a loss of 1. A win on the 1st bet followed by loss on the second brings about a loss of 2. Wins on the first two with a loss on the 3rd gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first 3 with a loss on the fourth mean you breakeven. Coming out on top on all four bets leaves you with twelve, a profit of 10. This means you can fail to win the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
