Punto Banco Rules and Scheme
Baccarat Principles
Baccarat chemin de fer is enjoyed with eight decks in a dealer’s shoe. Cards valued less than ten are counted at face value and with Ten, Jack, Queen, King are zero, and Ace is 1. Bets are made on the ‘bank’, the ‘player’, or for a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the 2 hands that are dealt).
Two cards are dealt to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The total for every hand is the sum of the cards, but the beginning number is dropped. For instance, a hand of 5 and 6 has a value of 1 (five plus 6 = eleven; ditch the initial ‘one’).
A 3rd card could be given out based on the rules below:
- If the gambler or bank achieves a value of eight or nine, both players stay.
- If the player has 5 or lower, he hits. Players stays otherwise.
- If the player holds, the bank takes a card on a total less than 5. If the gambler hits, a chart is employed to determine if the banker holds or takes a card.
Punto Banco Odds
The larger of the two scores wins. Winning wagers on the banker pay out 19:20 (even money less a 5% commission. Commission are tracked and cleared out when you quit the game so ensure you have cash left before you quit). Winning wagers on the gambler pays out at one to one. Winning bets for tie frequently pay eight to one but sometimes 9 to 1. (This is a poor wager as a tie occurs less than 1 in every ten hands. Avoid wagering on a tie. However odds are substantially better for 9:1 versus eight to one)
Gambled on properly baccarat chemin de fer provides pretty decent odds, apart from the tie bet of course.
Baccarat Method
As with all games Baccarat has some accepted misconceptions. One of which is the same as a myth in roulette. The past isn’t an indicator of future events. Recording past results at a table is a bad use of paper and a snub to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.
The most familiar and almost certainly the most accomplished course of action is the one, three, two, six plan. This plan is deployed to build up profits and limit risk.
Begin by betting 1 unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the game table for a grand total of 3 dollars on the second bet. If you succeed you will now have six on the game table, remove four so you have 2 on the 3rd round. Should you come away with a win on the third wager, deposit two to the 4 on the game table for a grand total of six on the 4th round.
If you lose on the initial wager, you take a hit of 1. A win on the 1st round followed by a loss on the second causes a loss of two. Success on the initial two with a defeat on the 3rd gives you with a gain of 2. And wins on the initial 3 with a loss on the fourth means you balance the books. Winning at all four rounds leaves you with 12, a take of ten. This means you are able to not win on the 2nd bet five times for each successful run of four rounds and still balance the books.
