Baccarat Codes

Baccarat is played with 8 decks in a dealing shoe. Cards under ten are counted at their printed number and with 10, J, Q, K are zero, and Ace is one. Wagers are placed on the ‘banker’, the ‘player’, or on a tie (these aren’t actual people; they simply represent the two hands that are dealt).

Two cards are dealt to both the ‘bank’ and ‘gambler’. The score for each hand is the total of the 2 cards, but the first number is discarded. For instance, a hand of five and 6 has a value of one (5 plus 6 equals eleven; dump the 1st ‘1′).

A additional card can be dealt based on the following rules:

- If the player or bank gets a value of 8 or nine, both players stay.

- If the player has less than 5, he hits. Players holds otherwise.

- If the player stands, the banker takes a card on five or lower. If the gambler takes a card, a table is employed to see if the bank stays or takes a card.

The greater of the two hands wins. Winning bets on the banker payout 19 to 20 (even money less a 5% commission. Punto Banco Method

As with all games baccarat banque has quite a few established misunderstandings. One of which is the same as a misconception in roulette. The past is not a harbinger of events yet to happen.
