Baccarat Protocols

Baccarat is played with eight decks of cards in a shoe. Cards valued less than ten are give a value of their printed value and on the other hand 10, J, Q, K are 0, and A are each given a value of 1. Bets are placed on the ‘banker,’ the ‘player’ or for a tie (these aren’t actual individuals; they just portray the two hands to be dealt).

Two hands of 2 cards are then played to the ‘banker’ and ‘player’. The score for any hand shall be the total of the 2 cards, but the very first digit is dropped. For eg, a hand of 7 and five gives a score of two (sevenplusfive=12; drop the ‘1′).

A third card could be given depending on the foll. rules:

- If the bettor or banker has a total of eight or 9, then both bettors stand.

- If the gambler has five or less, he hits. bettors stand otherwise.

- If gambler stands, the banker hits of five or less. If the player hits, a chart might be used in order to decide if the banker stands or hits.

Baccarat Odds

The larger of the two scores is the winner. Winning wagers on the banker pay out nineteen to twenty (even odds less a five % commission. Commission is monitored and paid out when you leave the table so ensure you have $$$$$ left before you leave). Winning bets on the player pay one to 1. Winner bets for tie by and large pay 8 to 1 but on occasion nine to 1. (This is not a good gamble as ties occur less than one every 10 hands. Avoid laying money on a tie. Regardless odds are decidedly better – 9 to 1 vs. 8 to one)

Played smartly, baccarat presents fairly decent odds, away from the tie wager ofcourse.

Baccarat Strategy

As with just about all games, Baccarat has some established false impressions. One of which is close to a misconception of roulette. The past is surely not a predictor of future results. Tracking of prior outcomes on a chart is for sure a waste of paper … an insult to the tree that gave its life for our stationary needs.

The most accepted and possibly most successful tactic is the one-3-2-six method. This process is deployed to boost winnings and cutting back risk.

start by betting one unit. If you win, add one more to the two on the table for a total of three on the 2nd bet. If you win you will have six on the table, clear away four so you have two on the 3rd bet. If you win the 3rd bet, add 2 to the 4 on the table for a value of six on the 4th bet.

If you don’t win on the initial bet, you take a loss of one. A win on the 1st bet followed up by loss on the 2nd causes a loss of two. Wins on the first 2 with a loss on the third gives you a profit of two. And wins on the first three with a loss on the fourth mean you break even. A win on all four bets leaves you with 12, a profit of ten. Thus you can lose the 2nd bet 5 times for every successful streak of 4 bets and still break even.
